EARN A BROKER'S LICENSE

To earn a Pennsylvania real estate broker's license, you must complete 240 hours (16 credits) of state-approved education. At the conclusion of each class, you'll be tested on the material you've learned. After you pass that test, the REALTORS® Educational Institute will send you a transcript to include with your broker exam application. It's that simple! Two classes (Real Estate Law and Brokerage and Office Management) are prerequisites for the license. Click here to download a sheet that details your broker education requirements. By taking any course below, you would also fulfill your entire 14-hour continuing education obligation for the 2014-16 sales license renewal period.

HOW TO GET STARTED

Check out our step-by-step guide to earning your broker license in Pennsylvania. From learning the education requirements to downloading the necessary forms, you've found the place to get your career goals moving.

ON THE WEB
You can earn two of the 16 required credits online with Valuation of Residential Properties, a 30-hour online course that covers the principles and practices of real estate appraisal and valuation analysis. Tuition is only $180, and you can complete the required proctored exam at our convenient location in Pittsburgh.
