Continuing Education

All classes on this page are approved for CE for PA real estate licensees.

IMPORTANT UPDATE ON CONTINUING EDUCATION FOR THE 2016-18 RENEWAL

The Commission implemented a new policy requiring that all licensees take at least three hours of continuing education during the 2016-2018 renewal in topics related to commission rules and regulations.  RAMP’s education staff stayed on top of this new requirement and developed a 3.5 hour “Required Rules and Regulations” continuing education course, taught by top instructors well-versed in Regulation.  Select one of the classes and register today!  New agents or those in their first continuing education renewal cycle who are required to complete the mandatory new agent courses, are exempt from this requirement.

All licensees should have received an email from the Commission notifying them of this change.

Read here to find out what classes "New Agents" need to take.

1.    New agents who received their real estate license after December 1, 2015 and experienced agents who are taking continuing education for the first time in Pennsylvania (first-timers) are required to take 14 hours of continuing education in specific, mandatory Commission-developed courses.

2.    All new agents and first-timers must take the New Agent General Module (7 hours) plus their choice of either the New Agent Residential (7 hours) or the New Agent Commercial electives (7 hours).

3.    Licensees who take the “new agent” courses are exempt from the Commission’s mandatory topic requirement for license renewal which is three hours in Rules and Regulations.
