This two-day course serves as the core of the Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR®) designation program, which is the benchmark of excellence in buyer representation. The goal of this course is to set the foundation of training, skills, and resources to help real estate professionals succeed in today’s marketplace as buyer’s representatives. This course is a fundamental resource for understanding the duties that REALTORS® owe to clients, customers, the public, and fellow REALTORS® as outlined in NAR’s Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice. Emphasis will be place on the guidelines for use of the Pennsylvania Association of REALTORS® Standard Forms.
Students will learn:
- The duties to clients & responsibilities to customers
- How agency relationships are established
- The details of the Consumer Notice & Buyer Representation Agreement
- How agency relationships are established
- How to formulate & practice an interview & counseling session with a prospective buyer client
- How to walk through the process from offer to accepted contract
- How to formulate a plan for maintaining client relationshps after the closing
- Marketing fundamentals for obtaining new buyer busines
