The requirements to earn a Pennsylvania real estate license are the same, but now you can do so from the comfort and convenience of your home or office. Earning your license is a three-step process, and we're able to help at every stage:
1. You must complete "Real Estate Fundamentals" and "Real Estate Practice." We offer both 30-hour courses below.
2. To earn credit for the class, you must pass a written test (separate from the license exam). Pennsylvania law requires you to take this test in person with an approved proctor. Just give us a call to schedule your proctored test at our headquarters in Pittsburgh five days a week.
3. Upon passing both courses, you'll be able to apply to the Pennsylvania Real Estate Commission to sit for your license exam.
The classes:
Real Estate Fundamentals
The course is designed to acquaint the student with the language, principles and laws that govern the business of real estate. Emphasis is on the underlying concepts of land, property, rights in realty and the means, methods and laws that govern the conveyance of these rules.
(30 hours, $175)
Real Estate Practice
The course is designed to acquaint the student with the basic techniques, procedures, regulations and ethics involved in a real estate transaction along with a working knowledge of the forms used.
(30 hours, $175)
