Reassessment Roulette: Southern 'Burbs Now Online (02/20/12)

Property owners in the southern suburbs of Allegheny County can now view their new assessment online, joining property owners in the eastern suburbs and the City of Pittsburgh.  Northern and western suburban property owners should receive their new assessments somewhere between February 27th – March 2nd, and will be available online thereafter.  In the past few days Allegheny County migrated much of their information on assessments to one online starting location, which great emphasis on the fact that it was a "court ordered reassessment."  Click here to access the site.

Items on the menu which property owners can choose from are:
  • Information on their 2012 base year assessment
  • Information on their 2013 reassessment
  • Link to download an appeal form (for 2012 or 2013 assessment)
  • Reassessment FAQ’s
  • Link to schedule an informal review or submit corrections to incorrect property characteristics
  • Review the list of which municipalities’ property owners have been sent their notices, and which will be released on March 2nd
RAMP Government Affairs has perused the new resources, and integrated it with our always updated "Reassessment Toolbox" and "Fiction vs. Fact" downloads.  For frequent viewers, we even highlight what's new so you can get right to the meat of the matter.
