Monday, April 2nd is the last day to file for a formal appeal of a property in Allegheny County. Property owners may file to appeal their
(current) 2012 assessment or their
(new) 2013 assessment. If a property owner has already filed for an informal review, they will have 30 days to file a formal appeal
after receiving the informal review's
written notice, which thereby extends their deadline past the April 2nd date.
If you haven't filed and still intend to do so, no more procrastinating!
