Monday, April 2nd is the last day to file for a formal appeal of a property in Allegheny County. Property owners may file to appeal their (current) 2012 assessment
or their (new) 2013 assessment
. If a property owner has already filed for an informal review, they will have 30 days to file a formal appeal after
receiving the informal review's written
notice, which thereby extends their deadline past the April 2nd date.
