List of Legislators Opposing the QRM Definition Gets Longer

On May 25th, RAMP Government Affairs was excited to report that Congressman Jason Altmire had signed on to Campbell-Sherman Letter (click here to read if you missed it).  We have obtained the freshly updated list of legislators who have signed on to the Campbell-Sherman Letter in the U.S. House, and the Landrieu-Isakson-Hagan version in the U.S. Senate. RAMP Government Affairs is thrilled to share word that all of the Congressman who represent Allegheny County have signed on: Congressman Mike Doyle, Congressman Tim Murphy, and Congressman Jason Altmire.  Additionally, Senator Robert Casey has signed onto the Senate version!

RAMP Government Affairs thanks the efforts of our FPC's for each Congressman, as well as the more than 330 RAMP Realtors® who took the time to respond to NAR's recent Call for Action on this issue.  At a recent local event, Senator Casey also acknowledged Helen Hanna Casey for reaching out to him on this critical issue.

NAR has put together an ad thanking those legislators who have signed on to these letters to federal regulators, which will run in D.C. publications today and tomorrow, and next week.
