WHAT CLASSES TO TAKE?  PLEASE READ THIS IMPORTANT UPDATE ON CONTINUING EDUCATION FOR THE 2020 REAL ESTATE LICENSE RENEWAL.

The Commission implemented a new policy requiring that all licensees take at least 1.5 hours of continuing education during the June 1, 2018- May 31,2020 renewal cycle in topics related to property management and 2 hours on the topic of advertising. This is part of the 14 hour CE requirement.  RAMP’s education staff is on top of this new requirement and our 3.5 hour mandatory continuing education course is taught by top instructors who are field experts.  New agents or those in their first continuing education renewal cycle who are required to complete the mandatory new agent courses, are exempt from this requirement.

READ HERE TO FIND OUT WHAT CLASSES A "NEW AGENT" NEEDS TO TAKE.

1.    New agents who received their real estate license after December 1, 2017 and experienced agents who are taking continuing education for the first time in Pennsylvania (first-timers) are required to take 14 hours of continuing education in specific, mandatory Commission-developed courses.

2.    All new agents and first-timers must take the New Agent General Module (7 hours) plus their choice of either the New Agent Residential (7 hours) or the New Agent Commercial electives (7 hours).

3.    Licensees who take the “new agent” courses are exempt from the Commission’s mandatory topic requirement.
