The Pennsylvania Association of REALTORS are releasing updated forms in January.

The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) has announced a new fee will be levied on ALL radon mitigation system installations and activations effective October 21st.  The fee will be a flat $50.  This fee has been considered for a long time by the DEP to provide funding for the department’s ongoing activities regulating the radon mitigation industry in the state.

It may also help to encourage prospective buyers to fully review these documents to avoid post-closing issues.
