The RAMP Foundation has been a big supporter of the Salvation Army's Project Bundle Up program. Project Bundle Up was started years ago by former WTAE meteorologist Joe DeNardo in partnership with the Salvation Army. The program provides warm winter coats and some accessories to keep area kids and seniors "bundled up" during the chilly winter months.
On December 2nd, a few of the Trustees of the RAMP Foundation took a shift answering the telephones at the annual telethon held at the WTAE TV studios. Following their phone duty, Channel 4 personality Sally Wiggin introduced the group on the air for a check presentation in the amount of $3,500 to go to Project Bundle Up.
Sally Wiggin, John Petrack, Lisa Freeman, Carole Wilczek, Dawn Parasolick and Amber Nitsche
RAMP Foundation representatives that participated in the telethon included: Foundation President Lisa Freeman, Carole Wilczek (and daughter Amber Nitsche), Preston Moore, Daniel Seigel, Dawn Parasolick and RAMP Executive Vice President John Petrack.
The money donated came from funds that were raised throughout the year at various RAMP and RAMP Foundation events. Thank you to all who have contributed to the Foundation.
