PAR has filed an Amicus Brief supporting a lawsuit to deem real estate an essential service. Although it’s outcome will probably not be known for awhile, we do want to let our members know.

Unemployment Compensation Update

The state of Pennsylvania will be opening up a separate application for the self-employed to file for unemployment compensation sometime next week. The association suggests that if you are a self-employed individual, do not try and file until the special applications are available. Doing so may cause your application to be denied.
